Integrity in Design, Excellence in Motion

BimWorks or rather Business Information Modeling Works was born out of a passion and the idea that utilization of BIM throughout the whole process, not just coordination, leads to quality, economical and livable spaces.

We have applied this process to projects ranging from Single Family and Multi-Family Residential projects to Data centers, Stadiums and Opera Houses, as well pretty much everything in-between; focusing on specific structural elements such as wall assemblies, floor and ceiling assemblies, and manufacturing practices for both wood and cold formed metal framing and coordinating those elements against other trades (Mech, Plumb, Elec, Fire Protection, ECT).

Every design is informed by the surrounding environment, our clients, and the people that will use the space.

What We Do

Our Process

Our process is simple. We Draft, Design, or Model your trade to any level of detail (LOD) that you require.

LOD 300

Model Elements are modeled as specific assemblies accurate in terms of quantity, size, location, and orientation. This Level of Development is used for A/E models such as the Design Intent Model.

LOD 350

Model Elements are graphically represented within the Model as a specific system, object, or assembly in terms of quantity, size, shape, location, orientation, and interfaces with other building systems.

LOD 400

Model Elements are Graphically represented within the Model as a specific system, object, or assembly in terms of size, shape, location, quantity, and orientation with detailing, fabrication, assembly, and installation information. This Level of Development is considered suitable for fabrication and assembly. It is to be used by specialty trade contractors and fabricators to build and fabricate project components, including MEP systems.

  Our Software

MWF is a professional grade Revit framing software that uses scripts to streamline the modeling aspect of Revit (Eg. Removing manual placement of studs; auto-placing studs every x-amount of inches etc).

By employing MWF software in conjunction with our modeling and estimate services, we are able to utilize the power and functionality of Revit to coordinate and design your wall assemblies for the LGS (lite gauge steel) and Wood Framing elements of traditional building practices. This includes all of the Drywall, Sheathing, Structural Connections, and even insulation that go into the walls, so you can order exactly what you need.

What does this mean for your project? Days of work can be done in 1 day.
